What does La Femme Prada Intense smell like?
A year after La Femme Prada, Daniela Andrier composed its Intense version in 2017, launched alongside L'Homme Prada Intense. The opening is sunny and milky. Frangipani and ylang-ylang smell like monoi cream, minus the beach. Tuberose quickly takes the heart, supported by orange blossom and jasmine sambac. It stays soft and more buttery than green. The base is where it parts ways with the original. Vanilla is louder and patchouli darker. Iris, a Prada signature since Infusion d'Iris, powders the whole thing while vetiver keeps a dry line. The result is a dense amber floral, the kind that is still on your sweater the next morning. Compared with Mugler's Alien, another ambery white flower, it is less metallic and more comfortable. On warm skin the vanilla can take over. That is the only real complaint. Longevity is excellent.
When to wear it
An evening and winter scent that works best sprayed on a sweater or scarf. Two sprays are more than enough.
