Our take
What does Rem Homme smell like?
Reminiscence launched Rem Homme in 2018, more than twenty years after Rem, its marine floral from 1996. The house does not name a perfumer. The opening is straightforward. Grapefruit and lime sit on a citrus base. The heart carries the idea of the whole line, a day by the water. A marine accord blends with a note of warm sand. Pepper and cardamom add a little spice, just enough to dodge the shower-gel effect. You smell skin drying in the sun. The base keeps it simple with white woods. Compared with Giorgio Armani's Acqua di Giò, which is wetter and more floral, Rem Homme feels warmer thanks to the sand and spice. It keeps the holiday spirit of the brand without copying the women's version. This is a well-made summer scent that deserves more attention.
When to wear it
Wear it in summer, on holiday or at the weekend. Three sprays on the neck and shoulders, and it lasts fairly well for a marine.
It belongs to the Woody, Aromatic family. Rem Homme is one of 20 creations by Reminiscence in our encyclopedia.
