What does The Most Wanted smell like?
Azzaro released The Most Wanted Parfum in 2022, a year after the Eau de Parfum Intense opened this darker branch of the Wanted line. The house only lists a handful of notes, and that is enough to get the idea. Red ginger hits first. It is bright and a little peppery, almost fizzy. An accord the brand calls incandescent woods follows, with a shade of toffee that gives the scent its sweet side. Bourbon vanilla takes over the whole base. It is dark and slightly smoked by the woods. Above all it lasts on clothes. Compared with the Intense, which leans on cardamom and toffee, the Parfum is spicier at the start and more vanilla-heavy at the end. It also brings to mind Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male Le Parfum, another masculine vanilla with no interest in freshness.
When to wear it
A winter evening scent to keep away from the office. One or two sprays on the chest are plenty because the vanilla base fills the room quickly.
