What does Chrome Legend smell like?
Azzaro spun off Chrome Legend from its Chrome line in 2007 as an eau de toilette for hot days. Several retailers name Christophe Raynaud and Olivier Pescheux, but the house has not confirmed it. The opening leans on green apple. Bitter orange and tea give it the feel of a cold drink, clean and slightly sour. The heart turns damper with moss, a smooth musk and a sea spray accord. It never gets properly marine, as the sea stays in the background. Tonka and amber warm the base while vetiver and cedar keep the line dry. Next to the original 1996 Chrome, which is more lemony and metallic, Legend is rounder and fruitier. It is an easy scent built to please without effort, and it does exactly that on a warm afternoon. Just don't expect it to surprise you.
When to wear it
A summer daytime and weekend scent that also works at the office. Use four or five sprays because longevity is only average on dry skin.
