What does Wanted by Night smell like?
Released in 2018 and composed by Fabrice Pellegrin, Wanted by Night takes Azzaro’s Wanted line into darker, evening territory, in a ruby-red bottle. The opening is warm and spiced: cinnamon, mandarin and lemon. In the heart, dry cedar, cumin and smoky incense add a woody, slightly animalic depth. Blond tobacco, tonka bean and vetiver in the base create a soft, almost sweet warmth with remarkable staying power. The whole feels hushed and seductive, like a dimly lit bar late at night. The cumin is used sparingly, adding a warm, skin-like shadow beneath the sweetness rather than any sharpness, and the incense keeps the drydown dry enough to stay elegant.
When to wear it
Wear it on autumn and winter evenings, for a date or a night out. It suits men who love warm spices.
