Our take
What does Bloom Nettare di Fiori smell like?
Gucci launched Bloom Nettare di Fiori in 2018, a year after the original Bloom and right after Acqua di Fiori. Alberto Morillas stayed in charge. The label says Eau de Parfum Intense, and the scent lives up to it. Ginger and rose open the show, which already sets it apart from the original. The rose here is warm and a little peppery. Then the family trio returns: tuberose, jasmine and rangoon creeper. A sweet honeysuckle joins them. The base is darker. Osmanthus brings its apricot-leather note, patchouli adds depth and musk ties it all together. Tuberose stays the star from start to finish. Compared with Gucci Bloom, which is very white and almost soapy, Nettare di Fiori feels riper and much woodier. Morillas keeps the line recognisable while giving it a heavier frame built for evenings.
When to wear it
A floral for autumn and evenings, with enough staying power for a long day. Two sprays are enough.
It belongs to the Floral, Woody family. Bloom Nettare di Fiori is one of 16 creations by Gucci in our encyclopedia.
