Composed by Aurélien Guichard and launched in 2011, Gucci Guilty Pour Homme revisits the aromatic fougère with a very tight structure. The opening pairs cool, aromatic lavender with bright lemon. The heart is orange blossom (fairly unexpected in a masculine scent) adding a floral, slightly sensual touch. A base of cedar and patchouli lays down a dry, lightly earthy woody finish. The result is clean and elegant with a hint of sensuality: the orange blossom brings a skin-like softness while the patchouli keeps a masculine edge. Nothing is overdone, and it wears easily by day or by night.
