Our take
What does Bloom Profumo di Fiori smell like?
Coty unveiled Profumo di Fiori in September 2020 as the next chapter of Gucci Bloom. Alberto Morillas, who composed the original, returned for it. The bottle switched to a lacquered honey yellow. The campaign brought together Anjelica Huston, Florence Welch, Jodie Turner-Smith and Susie Cave in front of Floria Sigismondi's camera. Sambac jasmine opens loud. Ylang-ylang adds a ripe banana note. Natural tuberose then fills the heart, creamy and a little camphorous. The base is what sets it apart from the 2017 Bloom. Sandalwood, orris concrete and benzoin make it warmer and more powdery. Musks carry it on the skin. Bloom smelled like freshly cut flowers, while Profumo di Fiori smells like flowers left in the sun all afternoon. Tamer than Frédéric Malle's Carnal Flower, it keeps the tuberose legible and easy to wear.
When to wear it
A tuberose for spring and summer, lovely toward evening. Two sprays will do, it fills a room quickly.
It belongs to the Floral family. Bloom Profumo di Fiori is one of 16 creations by Gucci in our encyclopedia.
