Our take
What does Blossom smell like?
Jimmy Choo launched Blossom in 2015 as a springtime take on its women's line. Louise Turner composed it. The opening plays raspberry, red berries and citrus. It feels fizzy and tart, fresher than sweet. The heart brings together rose and sweet pea. The sweet pea gives a light, watery flower that smells like a bouquet cut that morning. The base is simple: a clean white musk and soft sandalwood that calm everything down without weighing on it. Compared with the 2011 Jimmy Choo original, which is more caramel and more patchouli, Blossom is clearly younger and brighter. It has no wish to surprise you. It does its job as an easy fruity floral, which is both its strength and its limit. Longevity is fair for an eau de parfum in this genre, nothing more.
