Our take
What does La Nuit Trésor Dentelle de Roses smell like?
Lancôme released La Nuit Trésor Dentelle de Roses in early 2021 as a limited edition. The diamond-shaped bottle is dressed in black lace designed by the lace house Sophie Hallette, with the Lancôme rose at its centre. Amandine Clerc-Marie and Alexis Grugeon composed the eau de parfum. Mandarin, bergamot and a red fruit accord open it. A raspberry syrup note gives it an unapologetic candy side. The heart belongs to Damask rose, used as both essence and absolute. It swings between fresh petal and jam. Patchouli and a velvet accord in the base make the rose softer and darker. Compared with the 2015 La Nuit Trésor, which leans on praline and vanilla, Dentelle de Roses is more floral and a touch lighter. It still carries the line's sweet DNA. This is clearly an evening scent.
When to wear it
A sweet rose for autumn and winter evenings, a dinner or a date. Two sprays are enough because the patchouli base takes up space.
It belongs to the Floral, Fruity family. La Nuit Trésor Dentelle de Roses is one of 25 creations by Lancôme in our encyclopedia.
