What does La Nuit Trésor Intense smell like?
Lancôme released La Nuit Trésor Intense in January 2022, first at Nocibé and then everywhere else. Amandine Clerc-Marie and Honorine Blanc of Firmenich composed it. The bottle keeps the line’s diamond shape, this time in ruby red. Damask rose opens, fairly fresh with a peppery edge. Black cherry takes over quickly. It is dark and juicy, close to candied, and it sets the scent’s night-time mood. The base is almond milk and Madagascar vanilla. The almond adds a frangipane softness while vanilla thickens everything. Woody notes hold the structure together. The 2015 La Nuit Trésor leaned on rose, praline and incense. The Intense is fruitier and closer to dessert. It also projects less than you might fear from the name. Anyone who found the original too dark should try this one.
When to wear it
An evening scent for autumn and winter, too sweet for a shared office. Two sprays on the neck are more than enough.
