Our take
What does Angel Eau Croisière smell like?
Mugler launched Angel Eau Croisière in summer 2019, a limited edition eau de toilette composed by Sidonie Lancesseur. The house calls it an oriental fruity. The idea is to take Angel on holiday. Mango opens, ripe and slightly resinous, cut by grapefruit that lightens it. The heart brings a black currant sorbet accord, icy and tart. That is the best note, the one that makes you want to spray again. The base finally recalls the house. Praline and patchouli revisit Angel’s pairing, only far more sheer. Compared with the 1992 Angel and its cotton candy power, Eau Croisière is much fresher and far less divisive. Purists will say it barely resembles its model. The edition is now discontinued and Mugler lists it among its retired products.
When to wear it
For summer days, on holiday or weekends. Three sprays, the fruity top fades quickly.
It belongs to the Gourmand, Fruity family. Angel Eau Croisière is one of 23 creations by Mugler in our encyclopedia.
