Our take
What does Lady Million Lucky smell like?
Paco Rabanne added Lady Million Lucky to the line in 2018, alongside a 1 Million Lucky for men. The bottle keeps the line's diamond shape. The opening rests on tangy raspberry that verges on candy. It's bright and a little sharp for the first few minutes. The heart is the most original part. Toasted hazelnut blends into rose and jasmine, and that contrast between nut and flowers gives the scent its personality. Honey, cashmere wood, sandalwood and cedar make up the base. The honey brings a sticky warmth that the woods hold in check. Compared with the original Lady Million it's fruitier and less heady, with more reasonable projection. Our one regret is that the hazelnut fades quickly behind the honey. Several retailers now list it as discontinued, so bottles are getting harder to find.
When to wear it
For evenings or dates, especially in between seasons. Two sprays are enough, since the honey grows over time.
It belongs to the Floral, Gourmand, Fruity family. Lady Million Lucky is one of 35 creations by Paco Rabanne in our encyclopedia.
