What does Aqua Kenzo pour Femme smell like?
Kenzo launched Aqua Kenzo pour Femme in 2018. The theme is water, yet the usual marine notes are absent. Mandarin and lemon open with a juicy tartness while raspberry leaf adds a grassy green. In the heart, jasmine and magnolia meet a quiet rose. Crisp apple and hedione keep it see-through, like flowers behind a rain-streaked window. The base has more substance than you expect. Patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood show up with a little vanilla, and cashmere wood keeps it soft. Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana comes to mind for its apple and lemon combination. Aqua Kenzo is less dry and more floral. It wears easily but fades within three or four hours. Raspberry leaf is the most unusual touch and deserves more room than it gets. Still, the tart opening is properly refreshing on a hot morning.
When to wear it
Spray it on skin fresh out of the shower on a summer day. A top-up at lunch won’t overdo it.
