What does Legend Blue smell like?
Montblanc introduced Legend Blue in 2024 as a new branch of the Legend family. The first Legend, from 2011, was a classic fougère built on lavender and tonka bean. This eau de parfum follows a different trend, the fresh woody style known as blue. The opening is all spearmint, closer to a crushed leaf than to chewing gum. The heart moves to a woody accord built on cedar and sandalwood. It's dry and straight, with a hint of pencil shavings. The base rests on Ambroxan, the ambery mineral molecule that gives long wear and wide projection. Compared with the original Legend, Legend Blue is less soapy and woodier. The brand doesn't name a perfumer. The eau de parfum strength helps the mint last, which is unusual. It remains a very smooth scent designed to please as many people as possible.
When to wear it
An all-purpose fresh scent for office and weekend, spring through autumn. Three sprays on neck and chest.
