What does Narciso Ambrée smell like?
Narciso Rodriguez launched Narciso Ambrée in 2020, a new spin on the white cube bottle that Narciso introduced in 2014. Aurélien Guichard composed it, and the name already hints at where it is headed. The opening is sunnier than you expect from this house. Ylang-ylang and frangipani bring a creamy, almost tropical warmth. Then the musk returns, the brand’s common thread since For Her. Here it wraps itself in an amber accord that makes it softer and rounder. A cedar base keeps some dryness and stops it from getting heavy. On skin it suggests sunscreen and cashmere at once. Next to Narciso Eau de Parfum, which is more powdery and cooler, Ambrée feels more gourmand without turning sugary. It is probably the most approachable version in the line. Anyone who found the original too cold should start here.
When to wear it
Wear it from October to March, at work or in the evening. Two sprays on the neck and the musk does the rest.
