Our take
What does Le Parfum Resort Collection smell like?
Elie Saab released the first Resort edition of Le Parfum in 2015, a limited eau de toilette. Francis Kurkdjian, who created the 2011 original, signed this variation. The opening is juicy. Mandarin bursts out alongside orange blossom while a green fig adds a milky touch. The heart stays floral and sunny. Jasmine and frangipani lean toward white flowers, and orange leaf adds a bitter green edge. The base keeps cedar and amber but loses the depth of the main version. The original Le Parfum is broader and more oriental, with a wisp of incense in the drydown. Resort goes for simplicity instead. It soon becomes a skin scent, soft and slightly musky. Later Resort editions from 2017 onward switched formula and brought in pomegranate and patchouli. Now Smell This found the drydown cheerful but not very memorable.
When to wear it
A summer daytime eau de toilette to spray after the beach. It turns quiet quickly, so you'll need to reapply.
It belongs to the Floral family. Le Parfum Resort Collection is one of 11 creations by Elie Saab in our encyclopedia.
