What does The Most Wanted Intense smell like?
Azzaro launched the Eau de Parfum Intense version of The Most Wanted in 2021, and the house sums up the formula in three notes. Red cardamom opens. It is warm and slightly peppery, with a prickle that lasts a few minutes. Then comes the toffee accord that gives the scent its whole personality: butter caramel cooked right to the edge of burnt, like a fairground sweet stall. An amber-wood base dries it out and gives it solid staying power. The brand has not named a perfumer. The build is simple, almost linear, and very effective after dark. It is less smoky than Invictus Victory Elixir and more openly gourmand than Bad Boy. It makes no secret of wanting to please on first sniff, which is both its strength and its limit.
When to wear it
Autumn and winter, for nights out or dates. Two or three sprays on the neck are enough, as it projects hard for the first hour.
