Our take
What does Nina Rose Garden smell like?
Nina Ricci unveiled Nina Rose Garden in January 2021 as a 50 ml limited edition eau de toilette. Olivier Cresp, who also composed the 2006 Nina, wrote the formula. Despite the name, this isn't a rose perfume. It opens on freshly mown grass, very green, crossed with juicy pear. Lemon and grapefruit add a lemonade fizz. The heart turns white with neroli and orange blossom, both kept light and closer to orange flower water than to a heady bloom. The base brings back the Nina family's softness through vanilla and white musk that smell of clean skin. It sits far from the candy apple praline of the original Nina. Rose Garden is greener and airier, with much less sugar. It suits a sunny spring morning far better than a night out.
When to wear it
A daytime eau de toilette for April or May that you can spray generously. It doesn't last long, so keep the bottle in your bag.
It belongs to the Floral, Fruity family. Nina Rose Garden is one of 20 creations by Nina Ricci in our encyclopedia.
