What does Brit Rhythm smell like?
Burberry launched Brit Rhythm for Him in September 2013 with a campaign built around British rock. This eau de toilette opens on an aromatic note. Juniper and basil lead, while cardamom and verbena add a spicy freshness. After about half an hour the heart shows its hand. A soft leather accord that suggests a biker jacket blends with patchouli and styrax. The base stays quiet. Cedar dries everything out, incense leaves a faint trail of smoke, and tonka adds a little sweetness close to the skin. The result is an easy spicy woody. The leather promised by the rock campaign is tame. Expect four to five hours on skin before it fades to a woody murmur. Drier and less sugary than Viktor&Rolf's Spicebomb, it skips the tobacco and cinnamon route and stays clean.
When to wear it
A spring and autumn scent that works at the office and on a night out. Two sprays on the neck are enough, since the leather stays close to the skin.
