What does Infusion de Rhubarbe smell like?
Despite the name, Infusion de Rhubarbe is no herbal tea. Prada added it to Les Infusions in January 2025, a line composed by Daniela Andrier under the direction of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons. The opening is green: green mandarin and bergamot, with a pinch of bitter orange. Then the rhubarb arrives. It smells like a raw stalk snapped in half, sour and juicy with a pink shadow. Rose in the heart carries that colour without adding weight. The base is white musk and a modern ambery wood, as clean as a sheet fresh from the dryer. Nothing here is baked. There is no compote and no crumble. Next to Infusion d'Iris, the powdery pillar of the same collection, it feels younger and fizzier. It is also less memorable. Expect light eau de parfum longevity, with the scent pulling close to the skin after three or four hours.
When to wear it
A spring scent for the office or a lunch outdoors. Be generous with four or five sprays, since the musks fade by late afternoon.
