Our take
What does Yes I Am Pink First smell like?
Pink First extended Cacharel's Yes I Am line in 2019, a year after the original. Published note lists differ from one retailer to the next, but the overall shape is easy to read. The top is fruity. Tart raspberry and juicy pear open it without piling on sugar. The heart turns white: jasmine, ginger flower and orange blossom make a light, slightly soapy bouquet. Ginger flower adds a peppery freshness that keeps it away from candy. The base is the nicest part. A milky note wraps around cardamom. Ambroxan gives a clean woody glow and sandalwood rounds it off. Think of a raspberry-scented body lotion. The original Yes I Am puts its cardamom right at the top. Pink First leads with fruit instead and saves the spice for the drydown, which makes it brighter and easier to wear by day.
When to wear it
A spring scent for the office or Saturday errands. Spray freely, since it stays fairly close to the skin.
It belongs to the Floral, Fruity family. Yes I Am Pink First is one of 14 creations by Cacharel in our encyclopedia.
